I’m most at home living a simple, quiet life. So when we pulled in for a family vacation that summer to a small cabin on a working farm with prairie land all around us I knew we were in for a treat.
My creative senses become even more awakened when I’m out of my usual space and routine and I took note of the fresh eggs and flowers that greeted us as our boys scurried off to a loft to claim beds. Nothing but a dirt road, land, animals, wildflowers, and a couple other cabins were our neighbors for the next few days.
